extremely easy: one week in advance this "club" decided to move the date 3 weeks in time.
this of course is pretty absurd , to go there people took off days from work, paid for tickets lodgings trailers etc.
i do not know in canada but here taking time off from work is limited and must be applied for in advance.
some germans i know are not so happy anymore, they learned to see through this groups site the hard way...

Wouldn't I be furious if I'd made arrangements to attend. Certainly a problem for locals but a disaster if one was coming from a distance. I agree. Ken

i`m Wolle from Germany. I made reservation on Campingplace (100.-€). this payment is now for nothing.
My wife an myself 4 days off at Work, also for nothing.
This italien "Euroape-Team" have given a very bad light to the Italien Ape friends.
I know a lot of Clubs there.
in the year 2007 i drove with my Ape 50 to the Vespa World Days 2007 in San Marino (2000 km)
last year i drove to Sicily (Cefalu) to zhe Vespa World Days 2008 (4000 km)
Many TV Staions have made reports about my long, long way on the road to Sicily.
And now this fucking canceling.
I`m not very happy about this
but next year i go again to Italy with my Ape
